“Who is Jesus to you?” – Promod Haque, Northwest Venture Partners
Promod Haque has served as Senior Managing Partner at Norwest Venture Partners since 2013, where he focuses on enterprise and healthcare IT. He has twenty-eight years of experience in the venture capital industry and has been with Norwest since 1990. Mr. Haque has invested in more than 70 companies that have produced more than $40 billion in exit values. He’s also had more than 20 portfolio companies go public and more than 30 have been acquired. His most notable deals include Apigee (acquired by Google in 2016), Palerra (acquired by Oracle in 2016) and cybersecurity company FireEye, which was the second-best performing IPO in the U.S. in 2013. Recent investments include CareCloud, CognitiveScale, Dtex Systems, Health Catalyst, Prevedere, Shape Security, Simpplr and SlashNext. Mr. Haque holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he serves on the advisory board. Outside of work, he likes to spend time with his four grandkids and teach them extra math and science to prepare them for a technology-driven world. He is also involved with church-related nonprofit volunteering and is on the board of trustees of Biola University.
