Henry Kaestner is a Managing Principal in Sovereign’s Capital, a private equity and venture capital management company that invests in faith-driven entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia and the US from its offices in Silicon Valley, Washington DC, and Jakarta, Indonesia. Prior to co-founding Sovereign’s Capital, Henry was co-Founder and previous CEO, of Bandwidth (NASDAQ: BAND). They sell software application programming interfaces (or APIs) for voice and messaging, using their own IP voice network. Bandwidth customers include Google Voice, Skype, Zoom, Ring Central, and Go Daddy.

Sue Warnke has over 19 years of experience in the technology industry and is currently the Senior Director of Engineering Content at Salesforce, the world leader in Customer Relationship Management software. Other roles include Director of Innovation and Leadership, where she worked with Microsoft, Uber, SAP, Intuit, Sony, GAP, and Warner Bros. She has a Masters in English and was profiled in Liz Wiseman’s best-selling leadership book, Rookie Smarts. After a lifetime as an agnostic, Sue became a Christian in 2017 and now leads Christians@Salesforce as well as Faithforce San Francisco, Salesforce’s interfaith Employee Resource Group that is sparking conversation on Faith Diversity in the Marketplace. She lives in Pacifica, California with her husband Chris and three teenagers.

“Who is Jesus to you?” – Kirk Perry, Google Brand Solutions

Kirk Perry has been the President of Brand Solutions at Google Inc. since December 2013. He is responsible for driving Google’s revenue with the world’s largest advertisers and advertising agencies. He has extensive operational experience in marketing, operations, general management, consumer products, technology and digital media. Prior to his career at Google Inc., he spent twenty-three years with the Proctor & Gamble Company(P&G), beginning as Brand Assistant of Crest in 1990, where he held several positions of increasing responsibility in marketing and general management roles. He served as the President on Special Assignment at P&G since 2011 and served as President of Global Family Care since May 2011 until December 2013. Mr. Perry received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing/Finance from the University of Cincinnati. He and his wife Jacki have four children. Outside of work and family, he serves on the national board of the March of Dimes and the Citylink foundation as well as coaches youth sports.

“Who is Jesus to you?” – Promod Haque, Northwest Venture Partners

Promod Haque has served as Senior Managing Partner at Norwest Venture Partners since 2013, where he focuses on enterprise and healthcare IT. He has twenty-eight years of experience in the venture capital industry and has been with Norwest since 1990. Mr. Haque has invested in more than 70 companies that have produced more than $40 billion in exit values. He’s also had more than 20 portfolio companies go public and more than 30 have been acquired. His most notable deals include Apigee (acquired by Google in 2016), Palerra (acquired by Oracle in 2016) and cybersecurity company FireEye, which was the second-best performing IPO in the U.S. in 2013. Recent investments include CareCloud, CognitiveScale, Dtex Systems, Health Catalyst, Prevedere, Shape Security, Simpplr and SlashNext. Mr. Haque holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he serves on the advisory board. Outside of work, he likes to spend time with his four grandkids and teach them extra math and science to prepare them for a technology-driven world. He is also involved with church-related nonprofit volunteering and is on the board of trustees of Biola University.

Deborah Liu is Vice President Marketplace at Facebook. She spent the past five years overseeing billing and consumer payment systems, as well as Marketplace, Facebook’s portal for connecting consumers and small businesses. She led the development of Facebook’s first mobile ad product for apps and Audience Network while also building the company’s games business and payments platform. Deborah has been named one of the most powerful female engineers of 2017 by Business Insider and is a 15-year veteran in the tech industry. Prior to Facebook, she spent several years in product management roles at PayPal and eBay, including leading the integration between the two companies. Actively involved with promoting diversity and women in tech, Ms. Liu serves on the board of Expanding Your Horizons Network, a non-profit that focuses on inspiring girls to pursue STEM careers. She co-created the Women in Product nonprofit after realizing that there was no forum for this underrepresented community to connect. She is also a member of Intuit’s board of directors. Ms. Liu has an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Duke University.

Brent Jones is well-known in the Bay Area and by football fans across the country for his exploits with the San Francisco 49ers. He was selected as an All Pro tight end four times and earned three Super Bowl rings in his twelve years in the National Football League. In 2014, Brent Jones was inducted into the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame.
Brent Jones faith carries over to the charitable work he does. Young Life helped Jones as a teenager and he wants to see Young Life continue its ministry to other teenagers. For the past 30 years, he has organized the Brent Jones Open, a fundraising event held at the to help Young Life – Silicon Valley.
“Despite the central role football has played in my life, sports has never been my top priority. Even as a high school student, I felt a significant void inside that no amount of success could fill. Through a group called Young Life, I learned that the only one who could fill that void was Jesus. Knowing Jesus has given my life meaning and purpose beyond anything my achievements on the football field or in the broadcasting booth can offer.”

Nancy Ortberg served as a teaching pastor for eight years at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois. During that time she led Network, a ministry that helps people identify their spiritual gifts and find a place of service in the church, and Axis, a weekly gathering for the 18- to 20- something generation. She is a founding partner of TeamWorx2, a business and leadership consulting firm that provides fast-paced, practical, and compelling sessions to leaders and their teams. She is the CEO of Transforming the Bay With Christ, a non-profit working to catalyze a holistic gospel movement in the San Francisco Bay Area. She and her husband, John, live in the Bay Area and have three children: Laura, Mallory, and Johnny.
